In a video confession by a child trafficker apprehended at the Ukraine-Slovakian border, the trafficker acknowledges the trafficking of children from a boarding school in Perechyn, Ukraine. The harrowing confession also relates that the trafficked children were targeted for organ harvesting.
Denys Varodi, a former teacher turned child trafficker at the age of 43, reportedly provided a $1000 initial payment for an 11-month-old baby. He was apprehended at the Ukraine-Slovakian border and subsequently incarcerated. In a video recorded by his cellmate, obtained by journalist Vitaliy Glagola, Varodi admits and reveals additional instances of child trafficking he was implicated in during his tenure at the school where he taught.

Varodi disclosed that he and other traffickers operated under the guise of a “charity organization.” This charity purportedly collaborated with orphaned students from a boarding school in Perechyn, Ukraine. Varodi claimed that many of these student excursions were destined for places like “Holland, Germany, Italy, or America.”
While these students embarked on various trips, lawyers collaborating with the traffickers allegedly falsified travel documents for the students, and some were purportedly “adopted.”
In truth, according to Varodi, “children and students from the Borshchiv boarding school were taken for organ transplantation.”
“If twenty-five children were taken out, only twenty-three returned… involving employees of the institution, educators, and teachers,” Varodi said.
Students began questioning the whereabouts of the other orphans during these trips, and certain school faculty members provided excuses for the disappearances.
Varodi clarified that, as a general practice, children at the school were selected for “organ transplants.”
“They were primarily orphans without parents,” Varodi stated. “Some of them have not returned to this day, and their whereabouts are unknown.”
One police officer known as “Sasha” was purportedly regularly taking several girls from the school. Other school staff members witnessed him taking “two girls… consistently.” He would take them in the evening and return them in the morning. Glagola described these events as occurring in a “systematic” manner.
According to Glagola, in the video, Varodi “accuses the director of the boarding school, Vasyl Koba, the institution’s lawyer, Olga Longwiser, and the director’s son, Vasyl Koba Jr., of participating in the sale of children for organ trafficking.”
