Michael Cohen admitted on the witness stand Monday that he stole from the Trump Organization, according to multiple reports.
Cohen witnessed Monday that he lied to former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg in 2017 about how much he was to be reimbursed for a payment to tech company RedFinch. While asking for $50,000, Cohen witnessed which only gave the company $20,000.
“You stole from the Trump Organization, didn't you?” Trump's defense attorney Todd Blanche asked: seconds on ABC News.
“Yes, sir,” Cohen replied.

Cohen sought repayment of the payment from the tech company along with the $130,000 payment he made before the 2016 election for a non-disclosure agreement with Stormy Daniels, which is at the heart of the U.S. District Attorney's case. Manhattan, Alvin Bragg, vs. Trump.
Trump was indicted on 34 counts of allegedly falsifying business records to reimburse Cohen for paying the Daniels in monthly installments of $35,000, labeled as payment for “legal services.”

Cohen is the only witness who has testified about Trump direct involvement in payments. he witnessed Last week, Trump approved the plan to reimburse him, saying Weisselberg testified to Trump and said Cohen would receive a total of $420,000 over 12 months.
Jonathan Turley, George Washington Law Professor he wrote to X that Blanche's achievements were “below Cohen's waterline, but so were prosecutors” who allowed Cohen to keep the “stolen money.”
