Local LEOs reportedly reluctant to share critical information with FBI over 'disturbing loss of trust'

Local law enforcement officers no longer trust the FBI, according to a group of retired and active FBI whistleblowers.

On Wednesday, the group delivered a report documenting its findings to the House Judiciary Committee, according to Miranda Devine of the New York Post.

In the report, they said that local law enforcement has developed a “disturbing loss of trust in the FBI” and is therefore reluctant to share information/findings/data with their higher-ups in the 'FBI.

“Police officers and patrol officers and detectives investigating illegal activity in their jurisdictions have unparalleled visibility into street-level crime,” the report says.

“When this information is not immediately shared with the FBI, the FBI must address the complex and evolving threats facing the United States with an unacceptably vast and debilitating 'blind spot' because [it] it does not have enough staff and resources to see every corner of the country,” he continued.

Read the report below:

Who is to blame for the mistrust? Probably the FBI.

In fact, the report notes that the more than 30 “independent and highly credible law enforcement sources and subsources” across the country they spoke with “do not trust the FBI because they believe the FBI in the in recent years it has been operating as a partisan federal agency motivated by a political agenda.”

“Not only are they reluctant to work with the FBI, they have reportedly decided to stop sharing substantial, actionable information about criminal and other intelligence-related activities with the FBI,” the report said .

Of particular concern is what whistleblowers refer to as a “crisis of confidence” in the FBI-led joint task forces where the bureau's relationship with local officers has deteriorated and nearly “implodes” due to the “mismanagement and ineffective leadership of the FBI.”

Here's the kicker: Local officials said the FBI's response to the Jan. 6 riots and its raid on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort contributed greatly to that mistrust .

“One source, a 25-year veteran sergeant in the Major Crimes Division of a large police force in a western state, said they 'can't understand why the FBI isn't pursuing [far-left militant group] Antifa, BLM and pro-Palestinian rioters with the same vigor that the FBI did against J6 participants,” Devine reported.

“Another source, a 15-year police veteran from a southern state, said many local law enforcement officers “believe they could be targeted by the FBI and DOJ because of their love of the U.S. of America and may be perceived as domestic terrorists. how can they vote,'” his report continued.

The same report states that the FBI's attempt to pressure local law enforcement to help with cases related to January 6 “has affected the morale of these agencies” and led to the belief that the FBI it has been tainted by a “partisan political agenda.”

These law enforcement agencies believe that “FBI leadership would exploit any information provided to them to violate the law and constitutional rights of suspects under investigation as well as innocent citizens.”

One source who spoke to the whistleblowers said the FBI's behavior was “that of a third world country [and that the bureau] it should be dismantled and its staff prosecuted and sentenced to long prison terms”.

It gets worse.

The head of a multi-agency task force claimed that the FBI's recent hires to its teams “do not bother to hide their distaste for disfavored political and religious views.”

“The FBI's newest special agents identify as 'woke or liberal' and are often openly critical of conservative or Christian values,” the report said.

Another whistleblower source said FBI staff are “almost always … arrogant, aloof and condescending.” [with] few, if any, tactical skills to maintain themselves or their team's safety while on the street.”

In other words, they are all young, dumb, “woke” fanatics.

“The picture that emerges of the FBI is of an incompetent, arrogant and bloated bureaucracy that includes a new generation of DEI contractors described as 'completely worthless' and 'the worst bunch of people,'” Devine noted.

The report also directed criticism at the FBI's academy for training new agents in Quantico, VA, which it says “promotes a cult of narcissism by imbuing a false sense of superiority over all the forces of the “local, state and federal order”.

Instead of spending money teaching the value of “humility and a higher sense of service and professionalism,” the academy reportedly wasted money on a “wellness” center so recruits can engage in yoga and meditation.

According to Devine, the academy is so politicized that “at one point, a group of conservative students held up handwritten signs with the word 'STOP' in response to the instructor's constant political denigration of Trump and Republicans ” according to Devine.

The report also contained documents supporting claims that the FBI has been trying to purge conservatives from its ranks.
