Senator Ted Cruz targeted Vice President Kamala Harris for boycotting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress, accusing her of aligning herself with anti-Semitic and anti-Israel sentiments within the Democratic Party.
Cruz also highlighted Harris' record on immigration and national security, arguing that his policies have been harmful to the country.

“And listen, I served in the Senate with Kamala. I know her well,” Cruz began. “Joe Biden was wretched, and he was a puppet who was moved by the left-wing forces that controlled his administration. Kamala is a true believer. She believes these things.”
Kamala Harris is an extreme leftist.
He boycotted Prime Minister Netanyahu's message to Congress because he represents anti-Israel and pro-Hamas extremists who hate what our country stands for.

Cruz pointed to Harris' absence from Netanyahu's speech as proof of his position. “Look today. Today, Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke to a joint session of Congress. I was there for the speech. I sat down and spent 40 minutes with Prime Minister Netanyahu, one on one, right after the speech. Democrats In both the Senate and the House, dozens of Democrats boycotted the speech, including Kamala Harris.”
Emphasizing her key role, Cruz added: “She's the vice president. She's supposed to sit right behind him during the speech, and she's the presumptive Democratic nominee, and she said, 'I'm not going to attend.'” She believe in it.”
Cruz did not hold back in his assessment of Harris' ideological alignment. “You want to look at the radical anti-Semitic, anti-Israel front of the Democratic Party. Kamala Harris embodies that,” he said.
The senator also used the opportunity to call out other Democrats, particularly his own opponent in Texas. “And I have to say, for every Democrat down, I've encouraged Colin Allred, my Democratic opponent in Texas, that you should campaign with border czar Kamala Harris, go down to the Rio Grande Valley, defend 11 and a half years, millions of people invading this country.”
Cruz concluded by urging a focus on the records of Democratic leaders. “We have to do it on their records, because their record has been disastrous for this country,” he argued.
