Griffin Dunne claims Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher lost her virginity to him

Once roommates in New York City, Carrie Fisher and actor-director Griffin Dunne shared a unique and deep friendship. At the time Dunne was a working actor, and Fisher, little did he know, was on the verge of his breakthrough role in “Star Wars.”

Dunne allegedly details their friendship and claims that Fisher lost her virginity to him while she was dating another man in her new memoir, “The Friday Afternoon Club: A Family Memoir.”

He shared the following with the Sunday Times. “First, let me cut to the chase and say that Carrie never became my girlfriend. She knew, long before I did, that being lovers would diminish our chances. Carrie was a virgin when we met , and she lived for every gruesome detail of my sexual encounters—from my first kiss to the postcoital anxieties I shared with no one but her—her curiosity was so forensic that I felt like a corpse under one autopsy”.

She continued, recalling that she had a boyfriend at the time who was asking her the best way to win her over.

“Of all her confused suitors, Donald was my favorite, and I was rooting for him. I couldn't tell him that shortly after their courtship, Carrie had chosen to lose her virginity to me . As messy as it sounds, there was a certain logic to Carrie's approach. For years she had walked him through the minutiae of every conceivable sexual act like an artillery manipulator telling a housewife how to turn off. a bomb. Yes, it can be scary, but not if you know what you're doing,” Dunne wrote.

During this time, Fisher took on her role as Leia in the “Star Wars” films, and Dunne noted her jealousy that Fisher spent so much time with Harrison Ford, whom she idolized.

Interestingly, Fisher later documented her fling with Harrison Ford in her memoir “The Princess Diarist.” According to Fisher, the affair happened during the filming of “Star Wars.”

There's no way to validate or refute Dunne's claims that Fisher lost her virginity to the actor, but it's sure to generate discussion.

Fisher died of a heart attack in 2016. He was 60 years old.
