Marks had been involved in Santos’ campaigns in 2020 and 2022, but has now left the freshman congressman’s team, which is embroiled in a scandal over fabrications on his resume.

A new poll by Newsday and Siena College found that 78 percent of Santos’ constituents in New York’s 3rd Congressional District believe he should resign.

By political party, 89% of Democrats, 71% of Republicans and 72% of independent voters polled say Santos should resign.
