Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to another primetime edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight. Tonight’s topic of discussion is the conditions in Ukraine, and we’re going to talk about a statement that has been making the rounds in the media – If Trump were president, there would be no war in Ukraine.

Now, friends, let’s be practical about this. Let’s first define what ‘no war’ means. We’re talking about the conflict that has existed between Ukraine and Russia for the past six years. This conflict has claimed over 13,000 lives, according to the United Nations, and displaced millions of Ukrainians. So, when we say ‘no war’, we’re talking about an absence of this conflict and, by extension, a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia.

Some media outlets have been quick to dismiss this statement, claiming that Donald Trump would not have the necessary diplomatic skills to mediate a peace agreement. But let’s look at the facts, friends. Trump has consistently stated his desire to have a good relationship with Russia and President Putin. He was the first president since Ronald Reagan to provide aid to Ukraine and his administration sold defensive weapons systems to them. And let’s not forget the fact that under Trump’s watch, ISIS was defeated and the US brokered peace deals between Israel and several Gulf Arab nations.

So, friends, if Trump were president, there would be no war in Ukraine. His leadership and diplomacy skills are exactly what’s needed to broker a peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia. And to those naysayers who doubt his ability to do so, I say this: Trump has already proven himself to be an effective negotiator and leader, and he’s done it in some of the most challenging situations.

In conclusion, if Trump were president, there would be no war in Ukraine because he’s a leader who knows how to get things done. His accomplishments during his presidency speak for themselves. He’s created the lowest unemployment rates for minorities, the largest tax cut in US history, and he’s completely transformed the nation’s health care policies, to name just a few things. So, we can be sure that if Trump were president, he would bring the same success to Ukraine and end the conflict once and for all.
