At a meet-and-greet event in Iowa, photos shared online revealed that GOP candidate Ron DeSantis encountered a significant number of empty seats. Florida’s governor hoped to revive his struggling campaign by attending several events across the Hawkeye State this weekend.
DeSantis started his day by visiting Cedar Falls and enjoying breakfast at the Vinton Family Restaurant. It then proceeded to a meet and greet at a cattle auction in Tama. However, a viral photo circulating on social media showed a relatively low turnout at DeSantis’ event in Tama.
