While advocating for sending another $61 billion of your taxpayer dollars to Ukraine, Democratic Representative Gerald Connolly addressed the concerns of those who feel we should not be securing Ukraine's border when we have a border crisis of our own.
“Some say, well, we have to deal with our border first,” Connolly said. “The border between Ukraine and Russia is our border! It's the border between the depraved autocracy and the freedom-loving people who seek our democratic way of life! Do we have a stake in that outcome? Yes. Undeniably, yes.”
Turned on Representative Connolly's website, he denies that open border policies have damaged America, and repeats it laughable lie that illegal aliens are less likely to commit crimes than natives. he also publicly pressured the Biden administration to resettle a minimum of at least 125,000 refugees admitted into the country annually. In other words, in the minds of Democrats today, the border between Ukraine and Russia is a border with the US, but the border between the US and Mexico is not.
