‘We Need to Decarbonize Our Economy So These Fires Don’t Ravage Us’ (Video) ⋆ Conservative Firing Line

In a video that aired on MSNBC — the official network of insane liberal rage, hate, and stupid, lying liberal propaganda — Jay Inslee, the Democrat governor of Washington, essentially advocated the killing of all life on planet Earth when he said the nation needs to “decarbonize” its economy in response to a wildfire that devastated some 10,000 acres near Medical Lake, Washington.

“Because the fact of the matter is there’s a beast at our door, and that’s the beast of climate change,” he said. “It seems like the whole world is on fire.”

“We need to defend ourselves from climate change,” Inslee added. “We need to decarbonize our economy so these fires don’t ravage us. There’s not enough fire trucks in the world to protect us if we don’t stop climate change.”

There’s only one problem with his statement.  Without carbon, there can be no life on Earth.  No plants, no human life, and no animal life.

The American Chemical Society notes (Emphasis added):

One element is the backbone of all forms of life we’ve ever discovered on Earth: carbon. Number six on the periodic table is, to the best of our knowledge, impossible to live without..

That’s right… No carbon, no life.  Period.  End of sentence.

We can only assume that Inslee — not being a scientist — probably had no idea what he was actually saying, and was simply parroting far-left talking points.

Or perhaps, he does know the role carbon plays in the grand scheme of things.

There’s one other thing to consider — the planet’s climate has been in a state of change from day one, and there’s absolutely nothing he or any other Democrat can do to change that.  Not all the Communism in the world will make the planet’s climate stop changing.
