The Russian military has amassed a collection of more than 20,000 documents related to the US military biological program in Ukraine, RCB head of troops Igor Kirillov has revealed.

Russia’s Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense (RCB) troops began detailing the extent of the US biological weapons program in Ukraine last spring. Washington initially rejected the revelations, but Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland confirmed that the US does have biolabs in Ukraine.

“During the period of the special military operation, Russian troops have secured more than 20,000 documents, reference and analytical materials, and interviewed eyewitnesses and participants in US military biological programs,” the official said in a briefing in Moscow on Monday.

These materials, which continue to be reviewed and deciphered, confirm beyond doubt the Pentagon’s intention to create biological weapons in Ukraine and to test them on the populations of the Eastern European country and its neighbors, including Russia , Kirillov said.

The head of the RCB troops provided a series of new details about Washington’s activities, including a large-scale effort that took place in 2022 to evacuate Ukrainian specialists working on biological weapons in Western countries, including the States United States, Canada and the European Union. The relocation was carried out to prevent Russia from interviewing these personnel to obtain more information about activities that may contravene international obligations and treaty rules, Kirillov said.

Kirillov also described U.S. efforts to transfer biological materials from Ukraine to Poland, the Baltic states and Central Asia amid scaling back of programs in Ukraine.

“The Pentagon is actively transferring unfinished research under Ukrainian projects to Central Asian and European states,” the official said, adding that Russia has information about US efforts to increase biodefense cooperation with African and Asian countries. -Pacific region as well -including Kenya, Singapore and Thailand.

“Under pressure from the international community, Washington is changing its approaches to organizing military biological activities, shifting client functions to civilian departments: the Department of Health, the Department of Energy, the United States Agency for Development international [USAID, ed].
