In a post on his Truth Social platform, former President Donald Trump he pointed to FBI Director Christopher Wray for his uncertainty about the type of projectile that struck Trump during an outdoor rally in Butler, Penn. on July 13.
Wray testified during a congressional hearing that he wasn't sure whether it was a bullet or shrapnel that hit Trump's ear, prompting a scathing response from the former president.

“FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress yesterday that he wasn't sure if I was hit by shrapnel, glass or a bullet (the FBI didn't even check!) but he was sure that Crooked Joe Biden was physically and cognitively 'unincidental' – Bad!” Trump responded on his social media.
Trump, who appointed Wray as FBI director in 2017, continued to criticize Wray's approach, accusing him of neglecting to fight terrorism and criminal immigration and prioritizing the J6 Patriots, the 'attack on Mar-a-Lago and support for left-wing extremists.
Refuting Wray's uncertainty, Trump reiterated: “No, unfortunately it was a bullet that hit my ear and hit me hard. There was no glass, there was no shrapnel. The hospital called it a 'wound bullet in the ear,” and that's what it was. No wonder the former FBI has lost America's trust!
If only someone in the front row had taken a picture of the teleprompters after the event, that might disprove the whole “teleprompter snippet” theory.
