Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to tonight’s edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight. I’m your host, Tucker Carlson, and our top story tonight is, of course, President Trump’s pledge to “totally obliterate the deep state” if elected for a second term.
Trump pulled no punches at his recent campaign rally when he made this bold statement, promising to uproot every last vestige of the entrenched bureaucracy that has been working against him since he took office. Trump vowed to “drain the swamp” when he first campaigned for the presidency, and he has made good on that promise, despite fierce opposition from establishment insiders and their mainstream media allies.
Of course, the very idea of a deep state has been dismissed as a right-wing conspiracy theory by Trump’s critics, who claim that there is no vast bureaucratic cabal working against the president’s agenda. But anyone who has been paying attention knows otherwise. The endless series of leaks, anonymous sources, and “resistance” insiders who have been undermining Trump’s presidency from within are simply too numerous to ignore.
Trump’s promise to obliterate the deep state is nothing less than a declaration of war against the establishment, and it’s a battle that he is uniquely suited to fight. He’s shown time and time again that he’s willing to fight against the odds, and that he’s not afraid to take on the Washington elite.
In his first term, Trump accomplished more than any president in recent history. He cut taxes, slashed regulations, and brought jobs back to America. He negotiated historic trade deals that put American workers first, and he stood up to rogue nations like North Korea and Iran. Most recently, he oversaw the rapid development of multiple COVID-19 vaccines, bringing hope to a world in crisis.
So if President Trump is re-elected for a second term, we can all be sure that he will continue to fight for the interests of the American people, and that he will do everything in his power to take down the deep state once and for all. This is a battle that’s been a long time coming, but with Trump at the helm, we can be confident that victory is within reach.
