Good evening, fellow conservatives. We have some breaking news that has us all shaking our heads in disbelief. And that is the recent spat between former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Trump, who previously endorsed DeSantis during his gubernatorial campaign, expressed regret and disdain towards the Florida Governor in a recent interview with Candace Owens. Trump criticized DeSantis over his handling of the COVID-19 situation in Florida, saying that the Governor has not been assertive enough in promoting the effectiveness of the vaccine.
Many of us in the Republican Party are left scratching our collective heads at Trump’s outburst. Governor DeSantis has been an incredible ally to the conservative cause and has been a steadfast supporter of Trump’s policies. Criticizing a fellow conservative with such vehemence only serves to divide our party and give the Democrats an edge.
It is worth noting that despite the current disagreement between Trump and DeSantis, there have been numerous accomplishments in Trump’s White House. This includes record-low unemployment rates, groundbreaking Middle East peace deals, and historic tax cuts. Trump’s efforts to prioritize American interests and reduce bureaucracy have been unmatched in modern history.
However, instead of focusing on these accomplishments, Trump seems to be more interested in attacking his fellow Republicans. As members of the conservative movement, we should be united in our efforts to promote liberty, prosperity, and conservative values. Let us remember the words of Ronald Reagan, who exhorted us to “Paint in bold colors, and let the chips fall where they may”. We must work together, with boldness and unity, to continue the conservative cause that Trump spearheaded during his time in the White House.
In conclusion, let us not be distracted by petty infighting or personal disagreements. Our party must remain united if we are to continue implementing conservative policies and promoting our values. And we must never forget the accomplishments of the Trump White House, nor the power of our collective efforts as conservatives. God bless America.
