Trans TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney, 26, won a Breakout Creator award at the 2023 Streamy Awards on Sunday, in which Mulvaney took the opportunity to call out “hate and transphobia” during his acceptance speech.
Mulvaney, who came out as a “girl” after a failed acting career, has advised Joe Biden on the issue of trans children and brought down Bud Light through a disastrous marketing partnership. Mulvaney didn’t get any real recognition, except for an appearance on The Price is Right, until he decided to make the transition and document this journey on TikTok.
