An organization heavily funded by the philanthropic network of left-wing billionaire George Soros is funding a “Gen. Z” group working to advance Democratic priorities and President Joe Biden’s social media agenda, the New York Post.
Accelerate Action, Inc. received more than $5.5 million in 2021 and 2022 from the Open Society Foundations, a group founded by Soros and currently led by his son Alexander Soros, according to the Foundation’s website. This group gave, among other grants, $300,000 to “Gen Z for Change,” a nonprofit activist group that produces left-wing content uploaded to social media websites like TikTok and Instagram for voters to consume, according to its tax forms.

Open society foundations accounted for about two-thirds of Accelerate Action’s funding in 2020 and 2021, according to the New York Post. Additionally, Accelerate Action is the only nonprofit that has donated to Gen Z for Change, which would trace much of its funding to the Open Society Foundations, according to the Post.
“[W]I’ve supported a number of progressive campaigns, from union solidarity and the fight against abortion bans to holding social media companies accountable for their role in spreading misinformation,” Gen Z for Change writes in the his web site, which lists a dozen different left-wing campaigns. “Through our 2022 election work, we launched effective creator activations that generated a total of more than 26 million views and supported many crucial campaigns with various celebrities and lawmakers.”
The call log above reported that the founding board member of Gen Z for Change was a Biden campaign staffer, and the group often works with Democratic operatives and White House officials.

Generation Z for Change has been in direct contact with the White House administration and Biden regarding their campaign efforts. In 2022, one representative was invited to the Oval Office for an audience with President Joe Biden, while his other officials received a White House briefing on the war in Ukraine and a meeting with the surgeon general Vivek Murthy on the coronavirus, New York Post. reported.
The group’s website lists a dozen different campaigns that work to advance left-wing causes and obstruct the conservative policies of Republican administrations. One initiative, known as “CRT Mail,” allows users to spam the Virginia tip line email address created by Republican Gov. Glenn Youngkin for parents to report cases of “critical race theory ” that are taught in classrooms.
“[T]their website generates random reports in the Virginia CRT advice email. [T]he reports that they are not real, of course, they are mostly song lyrics. [J]Click the button below and send the email 🙂 [A]Alternatively, you can replace my message with a new one. [F]free eel to spice it up!” the group write.
Another campaign, known as the SAFER Initiative, stands for Spam, Assist, Fund, Educate [and] Registration: Targets crisis pregnancy centers or places where pregnant women can receive support for an unwanted pregnancy as an alternative to an abortion. As a result of their efforts, “Yelp added a disclaimer to all of them [centers]stating that they offer limited medical services and may not have licensed medical professionals,” according to the website.
Generation Z for Change did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
