President Donald Trump reacted to the news of his impending arrest in New York by noting that “the leader of the Manhattan district attorney’s office is funded by George Soros.”
Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg, whom Donald Trump refers to in his post, was elected in November 2021 with the indirect support of left-wing billionaire George Soros, who donated $1 million to the Color of Change PAC, which spend to elect Bragg.
The Color of Change PAC is a radical activist group that describes itself as “the nation’s largest online racial justice organization.”
The Soros connection was brought up by popular tweeter Catturd, prompting a response from Twitter owner Elon Musk.

“Corrupt New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg received $1 million from Soros in his run for New York DA,” Catturd noted.
“Soros discovered a smart arbitrage opportunity: the many small political contests, like DAs and judges, have a much bigger impact per dollar spent than the big races, so it’s much easier to influence the result,” he opined.
So Trump’s upcoming indictment and arrest would be just another way for the Soros-funded radical left to engage in “election interference.”
Trump announced on Saturday that “ILLEGAL FACTS” from Bragg’s office suggested he would be arrested on Tuesday:

Bragg is preparing to indict the GOP presidential candidate “for alleged hush money payments that Trump made as a 2016 presidential candidate” to porn star Stormy Daniels, Fox News reported.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has defended Donald Trump amid reports of possible indictment by Manhattan DA
“Here we go again: an outrageous abuse of power by a radical DA who lets violent criminals walk while pursuing political vendetta against President Trump,” McCarthy said on Twitter.
The House Speaker said, “I am directing the appropriate committees to immediately investigate whether federal funds are being used to subvert our democracy by interfering with elections with politically motivated prosecutions.”

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is expected to file felony charges against Trump next week related to payments made in 2016 to settle rumors of an extramarital affair. Bragg upgraded the charges to a class of misdemeanors, which contrasts with the prosecutor’s history of reducing charges against most of his cases.
Since taking office last year, DA Bragg has dropped approximately 52 percent of all cases brought to his office. Many of these cases involved reducing felony charges to misdemeanors. Under Bragg’s predecessor, fewer than 40 percent of cases were downgraded.
After a failed Russia collusion investigation, two impeachment impeachments, a Special Counsel investigation into Trump’s “classified documents” that appears to be neutralized by Biden’s worse classified documents scandal, and an investigation by the Jan. 6 who has not given any substantial evidence that Donald Trump called for an “insurrection,” apparently that’s what the corrupt Democratic Party is calling for to keep Donald Trump out of the White House.
