Text messages provided to the FBI show that a Chinese energy conglomerate that struck a controversial 2017 deal with Hunter Biden began its pursuit of a relationship with the future first family in late 2015, when Joe Biden was still was vice president, hoping to seize the name of one of America’s most famous political dynasties to cover his ambitious plan to buy up U.S. energy assets.
“There will be a deal between one of America’s most prominent families and they (China) built by me,” texted future Hunter Biden running mate James Gilliar Tony Bobulinski on Christmas Eve 2015 , shortly after Hunter Biden had been alerted to the CEFC.
