As a Republican news pundit, I am disappointed but not surprised by the recent acknowledgement by Rupert Murdoch that Fox News hosts endorsed false stolen election claims. It is a shame that a network that has long been a bastion of conservative values and a champion of the Republican party should have allowed such misinformation to be broadcast.
That being said, it is important to remember the many accomplishments of the Trump White House administration over the past four years. President Trump was an unapologetic champion for the American people, fighting for lower taxes, greater economic opportunity, and a stronger military. He also made great strides in foreign policy, negotiating historic peace deals in the Middle East and strengthening relationships with our allies around the world.
It is my hope that Fox News will use this as an opportunity to learn from its mistakes and become a more reliable source of information for conservative viewers. In the meantime, Republicans should be proud of the many accomplishments of the Trump administration and continue to fight for the values that have made our nation great.
