‘Not true’: Biden denies bank records show Chinese company sent more than million taken by family members

House Republicans continue to pile up evidence that the Biden family is compromised by suspicious payments from foreign nationals. But President Biden stands by his story that stories showing his family is corrupt are false.

On Friday, the president denied questions from reporters about recently uncovered bank records indicating that close family members received more than $1 million in incremental payments from a company associated with a business associate of Hunter Biden.

“It’s not true,” Biden said as he left for another Delaware vacation from the White House lawn.

Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) cited financial records from Bank of America, one of twelve banks used by the Biden family, that show close family members benefited from unexplained favors after a foreign company linked to the Chinese Communist Party recorded more than $3. million to Robinson Walker, LLC.

A memo from the committee says, “The next day, Robinson Walker, LLC sent $1,065,000 to European Energy and Infrastructure Group in Abu Dhabi, a company associated with James Gilliar,” who is a business associate of Hunter Biden.

“After the Robinson Walker, LLC account received $3 million from State Energy HK Limited, members of the Biden family and their companies began receiving incremental payments over a period of approximately three months,” the memo continued . “Recipients of the money included Hallie Biden, companies associated with Hunter Biden and James Biden, and an unknown bank account identified as ‘Biden.’

The White House in response to the committee’s findings did not deny the bank payments, but criticized the committee’s investigation into the Biden family.

“After a sickening attack lamenting that the President’s dead son Beau was never prosecuted while he was alive, Congressman Comer has now decided to go after Beau’s widow,” White House spokesman Ian Sams said.

“Instead of outlandishly attacking the president’s family, perhaps House Republicans should focus on working with the president to get results for American families on important priorities like reducing costs and strengthening of health care,” Sams added.

Hunter Biden’s legal team confirms the payments took place, but nevertheless accused Republicans of pushing a “baseless right-wing conspiracy theory.”

“Hunter Biden, a private citizen with full rights to pursue his own business endeavors, joined several business partners in seeking a joint venture with a legitimate, privately owned energy company in China,” said the spokesperson “As part of this joint venture, Hunter received his share of the initial bona fide funds that he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved at the time, and sharing the expenses” .

“Good faith seed funds” is a euphemism for a million dollars in payments from a foreign company for unexplained services.

The Hong Kong company that sent more than $3 million intended for Biden family associates in 2017 appears to have been run by a member of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) at the time of the transfer, an investigation by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

In March 2017, one month after President Joe Biden’s term as Vice President ended, State Energy HK Limited sent $3 million to Robinson Walker, LLC, run by “Biden family partner” John Robinson Walker, a House Oversight Committee memo revealed Thursday. At the time of the $3 million transfer, the chairman and chief executive of State Energy HK Limited appears to have been Lei Donghui, who joined the CCP in July 2002, according to a Chinese government website.

Lei, who left State Energy HK Limited in February 2018, now appears to be the “general manager” of Sanshui Development Company in Foshan, according to a DCNF translation of the company’s website.

Last week, the chairman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, Representative James Comer (R-KY), revealed that his committee has documents showing that the Biden family has been receiving money from the Chinese Communist Party.

“We finally have people cooperating with us,” Comer told Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo. “I think we all know that the Biden administration is stopping, Janet Yellen is cracking down, not forwarding the bank violations. But fortunately, since we last spoke, we have bank records in hand.”

“We have people working with our committee,” Comer continued. “In the last two weeks we have met with these people personally or with their lawyers and they would be four people who have ties to the Biden family in their various plans around the world.”

“We now have documents in hand that show exactly how the Biden family obtained money from the Chinese Communist Party,” he added.

“And, and I’ll tell you, it’s as bad as we thought, Maria,” he added.
