It is quite puzzling why there is such fervor among black people to appropriate historical narratives. This phenomenon occurs frequently, with many blacks claiming well-documented historical events.

Unfortunately, this has led to substantial disinformation campaigns that are effectively rewriting history. Many historians remain silent, fearing a possible backlash from a radical cancellation crowd that cares more about narratives and messages than facts and truth.

Another perfect example of this disturbing phenomenon centers around a new children’s book just out called “Brilliant Black British History”, which incorrectly claims that Stonehenge was erected at a time when Britain was a “black country”. This is not true. According to historians, the first black Africans in Britain arrived under the Roman Empire around 300 AD Stonehenge was built during the Bronze Age between 3000 and 2000 BC But that didn’t stop a Nigerian-born author retold the story in a totally different way.

Daily mail:

Stonehenge was built by black people, a new children’s history book has claimed.

Readers of Brilliant Black British History, by Nigerian-born British author Atinuke, are told that the Neolithic monument in Wiltshire was built while Britain was a “black country”.

The book, which is aimed at children aged seven and over, also tells readers that “every British person comes from a migrant” and that “the first British people were black”.

The introduction adds that Britain has been “a mostly white country for much less time than it has been a mostly black country”.

Atinuke also claims that the 10,000-year-old Cheddar Man remains belonged to someone whose skin was “as dark as can be”.

Could this be why the left is tearing down statues all over the world? Are they trying to erase history and reshape it to align with their political agenda?

As you can see, historically, the timelines just don’t add up. But don’t take our word for it. The good people a English Heritage I would beg to differ with this statement from the books.

Britain’s black history is by nature a global story. Yet it is too often seen as just the history of migration, settlement and community formation in Britain itself.’
– David Olusoga, Black and British: A Forgotten History

Black stories are a vital part of England’s history, dating back many centuries. There is evidence of African people in Roman Britain from the 3rd century AD, and black communities have been present there since at least the 1500s.

English Heritage is committed to telling the story of England in its entirety. Black history, from ancient times to the 21st century, helps us reflect on the connections between the past and the present, and the importance of history to our understanding of what is happening today.

This rewriting of history coincides with an entertainment industry that also engages in its own version of woke historical revisionism.

It is disheartening to witness an era in America where truth and facts take a backseat and the main focus revolves around race-driven, guilt-fueled propaganda.
