Multiple tornadoes hit the Plains, Midwest and Southeast – One America News Network

Nine tornadoes have been reported in Oklahoma and Kansas, causing more than a dozen injuries.

According to local authorities, a home had been observed to have been destroyed. Trees have been seen toppled over as well as power lines were knocked out in Liberal, Kansas, near the state line with Oklahoma.

On Monday, the National Weather Service issued wind advisories for those in Oklahoma and in Kansas, as well as for 14 other states in the Midwest and Southeast.

The National Weather Service had received tips about seven tornadoes that were in Oklahoma as well as two additional in Kansas on Sunday. Storm-hit communities in the states are assessing storm damage on Monday.

Winds reportedly as high as 114 mph were recorded in Memphis, Texas. Communities in Oklahoma and Kansas experienced gusts of wind over 80 mph.
