Megyn Kelly trashed the National Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society after firing a 90-year-old volunteer for getting gender pronouns confused and then issuing a truly lame left-wing apology.
First the apologies, then the gutting…
“The National Multiple Sclerosis Society apologizes to our times, dedicated volunteer Fran Itkoff. We recently asked Fran to step down from her role as Group Leader due to statements made that we felt did not align with our recently implemented Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Policy. We now realize we made a mistake and should have had more discussions with Fran before making this decision,” the MS Society was somewhat apologetic.
“During her 60 years of volunteering, Fran has been a committed defender of our cause. We had the opportunity to work with her and support her as a volunteer leader of a self-help group, but as an organization we fell short,” they said after giving the senior volunteer the boot.
BREAKING: The National Ms Society has just released a statement that goes back on the whole story saying they were BUSTED and APOLOGIZED to the 90-year-old volunteer they forced to give up pronouns.

Then came the justification that they should have just explained diversity, equity or inclusion (DEI) better to Itkoff so she could align herself and be politically correct.
“Although we acted at the time with the best intentions, we did not have clear protocols. We should have spent more time with Fran to help her understand why, as an organization, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive movement where everyone has equal access to the care, connections, and support they need to live their best lives.” the MS Society fought in a truly leftist way.
“We apologized directly to Fran and reached out to her to find a way to continue working together. In the spirit of continuous learning, we are focused on evaluating our processes and strengthening our learning to ensure that members of the our team are equipped with the best ways to implement all our policies. We want everyone to feel confident and supported in their roles. This work is a journey that requires commitment, responsibility, transparency and courage,” the organization stated in an obvious attempt to avoid a lawsuit and prevent people from cutting donations.
It took you so long to admit you were wrong@mssociety? I think many of us have realized that you care more about being politically correct than helping those of us living with MS. A good lesson.

Conservative pundit Megyn Kelly was having none of it and let X go on the so-called apology.
“Another FAILURE by the MS Society: They finally apologize to the 90-year-old volunteer who they fired for not understanding why she was forced to say her pronouns, but now they say what they should have done was working with her to explain how wonderful. DEI is. ROLLING AGAIN,” Kelly wrote.

X users lined up to express agreement with Kelly and express displeasure with the MS Society:
“We should have spent more time with Fran to help her understand why, as an organization . . .”
It's hard to indoctrinate a 90-year-old.
Apologies are lame.

“National Multiple Sclerosis Society apologizes for not using a baseball bat on Fran early on.”
— Paul Chato (@PaulChato) February 21, 2024
It's unreal. Their big conclusion, after all this time for reflection, was that they should have tried harder to get a 90-year-old woman to adopt the gibberish pronunciation before giving her the boot.
It seems that they never once considered that politics might be in question.

“Our apologies. We didn't indoctrinate you enough.”
— David F. McCullough (@transmicro) February 22, 2024
Now they've determined there's a more polite way to say “my way or the highway.”

“We're very sorry we didn't properly re-educate her and we're very sorry we didn't get a non-disclosure agreement from her. Please turn the money thorn back on. Thank you. That's all.”
— aforest (@tserofa) February 21, 2024
@mssocietythis was the equivalent of an apology beginning with “I apologize to anyone who was offended.”
Fail and you should be ashamed of yourself. Focus on your real mission and leave the ideology at home.
— DKvam (@DaveKvam) February 21, 2024
What kind of them allow you to continue to provide them with free services while they train you on pronouns.
— Jay Presser (@JMPresser) February 21, 2024
So 90-year-old Fran simply needs more”#diversity #formation” to understand the error of their ways: “re-education”.

They apologize like my mother-in-law, I'm sorry you feel bad about what I did to you. lol
