Kid Rock Releases New Product After Bud Light Fiasco

Kid Rock has been relatively quiet on social media since posting his violent response to the Bud Light controversy, but after more than a month, he’s back with a new merch opportunity for fans.

The musician and vocal opponent of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the parent company of Bud Light, made headlines after posting a video of himself firing a machine gun at beer crates. He did so after Bud Light sent him a custom can transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney. Since then, Bud Light has faced national backlash and boycotts from consumers, who apparently disagree with brands collaborating with trans people.

Kid Rock was seen as a symbol of the anger directed at Bud Light, but there has been some dozens of viral moments as of people documenting the boycotts, Kid Rock has kept a relatively low profile on social media.

Since releasing his machine gun video on April 4, Kid Rock shared a religious quote on April 8, promoted Happy Dad seltzer on April 9, and a photo from the second annual Bad Comedy Ass Jam in Nashville on May 12th.

Now she’s promoting a new pop-up merch store coming to Nashville.

“If you’re in Nashville this weekend, be sure to stop by Kid Rock’s Honky Tonk and check out the Merch Pop-Up Shop,” he wrote on June 28.

The honky-tonk he describes is his bar and restaurant in Nashville, Tennessee. The venue has recently come under fire for apparently Bud Light is still solddespite Kid Rock’s opposition, though an attendee confirmed it on social media was not available there.

“Hopefully Garth Brooks isn’t there. Keep it up kid!” one Twitter the user responded, sharing his excitement and referencing country music singer Brooks’ decision to continue selling Bud Light at his shows. Comments on Kid Rock’s social media posts on Twitter, Instagram i Facebook they were largely positive with very little backlash.

The Facebook post gave more details about the merchandise opportunity, exchange times, dates and examples of available products.

The Merchandise Store will be open on June 29th from 2pm to 7pm, June 30th from 12pm to 7pm, July 1st from 12pm to 7pm and July 2nd from 11am to 5pm.

Kid Rock’s opposition to Bud Light seemed to be a catalyst for many conservative people to express their disapproval of the brand. His actions by firing bullets into Bud Light cases were copied by a modelwho weeks later recreated his video on social media.
