The House has unanimously approved a bill that would force the Biden administration to declassify all information it has gathered about the origins of Covid-19. The bill, proposed by Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), now heads to President Joe Biden’s desk for signature.
The House vote comes on the heels of an Energy Department report covered by the Wall Street Journal that found the lab leak theory to be the most likely scenario for the origins of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. FBI statements claiming the lab leak as the most likely source have given the theory more credence.
The vote also comes after hearings in the US House of Representatives held on Tuesday by the Subcommittee on the Covid Pandemic. Subcommittee Chairman Brad Wenstrup (R-OH) explained why the virus is unlikely to have natural origins.
“Covid-19 has both a binding domain optimized for human cells and a furin cleavage site, or a small part of the virus that makes it so infectious that has never been seen before in a virus related to the SARS,” Wenstrup said. “In other words, Covid-19 has unique characteristics that made it highly infectious to humans. These have never been seen before in any other virus of its type.”
After Wenstrup set the stage with the documented facts, lawmakers and witnesses lined up to rip Fauci for misleading the American public.
Former CDC Director Robert Redfield trashed the “Proximal Origins” document that Fauci had a hand in.

Redfield told Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) that he was excluded from discussions of the lab leak theory and believes that SARS-CoV-2 was likely created due to gain of function.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) then took Fauci to task for misleading the public.
Rep. Jim Jordan blasts Fauci for misleading the American people:
“He was trying to cover his back, and everybody knows it. This is the highest paid man in our government. Getting all kinds of money to tell us things that weren’t accurate. US tax dollars went in a lab in China, a… https://t.co/7UvsIIPIWy pic.twitter.com/TAh4OPzvRG

“He was trying to cover his back, and everybody knows it,” Jordan said. “This is the highest paid man in our government. getting all kinds of money to tell us things that were not accurate. American tax dollars went to a lab in China, a lab that was not in the height of the code, a lab that was doing an increase in functional research, and that’s where this thing definitely came from and Dr. Fauci couldn’t have that news.”
Even FBI Director Wray chimed in.

“The FBI has assessed for a long time, as far back as the summer of 2021, that the origin of the pandemic was likely a laboratory incident in Wuhan,” Wray said.
On Thursday, Dr. Anthony Fauci agreed to testify before Congress on the matter.

The declassification of intelligence on the origins of Covid would likely shed even more light on Fauci’s attempt to shift the debate away from the Covid lab leak theory. It will be interesting to see if President Joe Biden, whose son has made millions in business deals related to the CCP, joins Congress’s push for transparency on the issue of the origins of Covid.
