House reaches ‘major final stage’ of impeachment charges against President Joe Biden

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) is about to begin impeachment hearings against US President Joseph Biden.

The president made the announcement on “Hannity” Monday night. The transcript is below the video.

MCCARTHY: “They bribed the Bidens. Okay, this was given to the FBI when Bill Barr finally found out, he sent it to his office in Philadelphia. In fact, they said this was very believable. The FBI hid this from the IRS individuals so they could never see it. So not only do they claim they were bribed, now we find information that 16 of the 17 payments from Romania were provided to Biden’s shell companies while he was vice president.

When President Biden was running for office, he told the American public that he had never talked about business. He said that his family has never received a dollar from China, which we now prove is not true. Now we have some of the most credible whistleblowers. These 10-year-old IRS agents who have come forward said the Biden family has been treated differently.

That what Weiss has told us is different from what Garland and Weiss have told the public. And you’re sitting here today where you’ve now found millions in foreign money just from the 1023 allegations they made against the Biden family. We have now found that it has been channeled through shell companies.

If you are sitting in our office today, we would not know any of this, if the Republicans had not taken the majority. We just followed where the information led us. But this is rising to the level of an impeachment inquiry, which gives Congress the strongest power to obtain the rest of the knowledge and information needed. Because this president has also used something we haven’t seen since Richard Nixon used the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have oversight.

HANNITY: If we’re talking about millions of dollars that come from our main geopolitical enemies and the Biden family has been corrupted and, and he’s taken all that money, and he’s been complicit in it… wouldn’t that mean that we have a criminal enterprise, as the president of the United States, that had to be compromised at every level by countries that don’t particularly love us?

MCCARTHY: Well, it’s interesting that the Biden family runs, if they say it’s a company but they’ve never had an office and shell companies to pay for. But if they really did it for foreign countries, why didn’t you get money from France, from Germany, from the United Kingdom? Why does it have to be from China, Romania, in these countries that have real challenges and have had problems? I think we will pursue it to the end, and that will lead to an impeachment inquiry as the Constitution tells us to do. And we need to get the answers to these questions.

HANNITY: In the words of John Dean, a malignant cancer now surrounds the Biden presidency and those walls are closing very tightly. This is not going the way I’m sure they wanted. And then we have on the other side, the assistance of the DOJ and the FBI. This is Jim Jordan’s committee.

Republicans are entering a crucial phase in their investigation into the Biden family’s business dealings. Hunter Biden’s former business partner is expected to reveal direct connections between President Biden and his son’s companies, raising the potential for impeachment.

According to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, the GOP investigation into the Biden family’s finances is now entering its “significant final stage.” They are looking into more than $17 million in foreign funds received by the Biden family and investigating alleged preferential treatment given by the Justice Department to Hunter Biden in an ongoing criminal investigation related to gun and tax crimes.

Recent revelations from the New York Post have further intensified the situation. The report indicates that the president was involved in at least 24 calls with Hunter’s business partners, including people from the Ukrainian oil company Burisma, despite earlier assurances from the White House denying such involvement. Devon Archer, one of Hunter’s business partners, is expected to testify before the House Oversight Committee led by Chairman James Comer about those interactions.

President Jordan expressed concern about the source of the money received by the Bidens. With several shell companies and several members of the Biden family receiving payments, he questioned the nature of the services or the value they provided, suggesting that access to then-Vice President Biden might be the only plausible explanation.

Regarding the potential for articles of impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland, Jordan said that is a matter for the full conference to decide.

“But the speaker has been very clear, Speaker McCarthy has said that if we have to go to an impeachment inquiry, in fact, we will,” Jordan said, noting that “the evidence continues to pile up.”

“We seem to be moving in that direction at a rapid pace, but that’s a question for the entire conference,” he said.
