Here are the biggest takeaways from Merrick Garland’s testimony in the Hunter Biden case | louder.news

Attorney General Merrick Garland testified before the House Judiciary Committee on Wednesday and answered numerous questions about the ongoing Hunter Biden case.

House lawmakers pressed Garland on specific points of contention in the testimony of IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, including the charging authority of special counsel David Weiss and the apparent refusal of attorneys North- Americans appointed by Biden, Matthew Graves of DC and E. Martin Estrada of the Central District of California to cooperate in order to charge Biden.

Ohio Republican Rep. Jim Jordan pressed Garland in his earlier testimony before Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley that Weiss had full authority. Jordan emphasized Graves’ decision not to “associate” with Weiss in bringing charges against Hunter Biden.
