“You can't really be a potential VP contender if you don't take a strong stand against it [Democrat] law But I'm not sure if you can have a future in the Republican Party, period, if you don't speak out against it,” Federalist Editor-in-Chief Mollie Hemingway said in a Fox News interview. “It shouldn't just be a partisan issue . . . Using the courts to persecute political opponents, that destroys the rule of law for everybody. And so it would probably be good to see sober people from across the political spectrum speaking out against it.”
