Make no mistake, in 08-09, even normal discussions with a good friend of mine were about girls, cars, computers, jobs, etc. And this was the friend I wanted to join the Marines with. We both watched the towers fall and the last thing on our minds were gays, public sexual depravity and all the retardation that came out of 2016+.
Sure there was a lot of tyranny since going off the gold standard, the FED, the forever wars, JFK’s attendance, but even with all that it wasn’t what it is now.
To me, this is reassuring, as the only way out of this mess is through him. And since the acceleration is still happening, I am hopeful that this will all collapse before our children have to fight the war that our parents, their parents, and their parents’ parents have left us .
Times were certainly simpler, but they weren’t “simple” enough for my taste. I want a USA that never was, even though it was so close in 1776. I don’t want to see America great again, I want to see it better than ever.
When you strive for a goal, exactly when you feel like you are failing the most is exactly the time to try your best because the suffering is temporary, but you may never go back and try again. And how hard you try prepares you for much bigger things. So I say, with all the revelations we’re seeing about how utterly corrupt our government is, keep coming until we’ve seen them all.
I want the government to break and bleed on the operating table because there has been a cancer in the very blood of our nation since birth. It has almost caused the death of the patient, but if we can successfully extract him, he will be healthier than ever. The nation I want to see may look very similar from a distance, but when you look closely, something as simple as policemen giving out tickets to meet their minimum quota for the month would be seen as an abuse of power.
Never wish for simpler times when the going gets tough, ask for more strength.
