TV producer Kevin Turen, the man who helped bring iconic shows like HBO’s to life euphoria i The Idolhas died suddenly at the age of 44.
No cause of death has been made public.
The producer’s father, Edward, released a statement confirming Kevin’s death. He wrote a tribute for Limit date: “Kevin was so incredibly special, this world will be less without him.”
Turen’s work on television also included Olivier Assayas Irma Vep among a number of other notable achievements.

Jay Penske, CEO of PMC and close personal friend of Turen, shared a statement of his own. He wrote: “Despite his many successes in Hollywood, Kevin’s greatest passion was his family and friends.
“He was very proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were determined that their children grew up with great values and made sure they made a difference in the wider world. Our collective hearts break for them , and we all feel such a deep sense of loss. Kevin will be sorely missed, and this city lost one of its brightest rising stars today,” Penske concluded.

He recently produced the Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal film The unbearable weight of massive talentby Mia Goth X and Pearl, as well as HBO euphoria i The Idol.
Born in New York on August 16, 1979, Turen studied film at Columbia University before moving to Los Angeles.
Turen, who was said to have a photographic memory and remembered every frame of film he had ever seen, is survived by his wife of 11 years, Evelina, and their children.
