Tucker Carlson praises Trump as “the biggest thing” to happen to American politics in 100 years

Tucker Carlson praised the former president donald trump during his first interview since he left Fox News earlier this year, claiming the former president “redirected the Republican Party.”

Carlson made his statement about Trump during an interview with the Be free with Russell Brand podcast, which aired on Friday.

“I think looking back at this ten years from now, assuming we’re still around, I think we’ll see the emergence of Trump as the most significant thing to happen in American politics in 100 years because he reoriented the Republican Party against the wishes of Republican leaders,” Carlson said.

During his podcast appearance, Carlson also praised Trump’s stance on war Ukraine, saying he was “surprised by his views on foreign policy.” Carlson went on to say that Trump is “the only person of stature in the Republican Party” who stops to ask, “Why are we supporting an endless war in Ukraine?”
