Controversial British journalist Tommy Robinson was arrested for joining a march against anti-Semitism in London after organizers asked him to stay away, another example of how free speech has been almost trampled on other side of the pond.
Tens of thousands of people rallied on Sunday to protest against an alarming explosion of Jew-hatred after Israel retaliated against the Hamas terror organization that massacred more than 1,300 of its citizens last month, including women , children and babies who were slaughtered in their homes. .
London, once the seat of Western civilization, has seen its streets occupied by immense mounds of pro-Hamas protesters evoking hatred against Jewish democracy and the Jewish people in general, protests to which the city’s Muslim mayor , Sadiq Khan, has given wide latitude.
They arrested Tommy Robinson. In the UK, you are allowed to march and sing about the genocide of the Jews, but if a journalist who holds the “wrong” views tries to cover it, they will be arrested.

But on a day when there was an opposing presence, the police swarmed the 40-year-old English Defense League founder with overwhelming force, leading him to a scene straight out of the dystopian world of the film “V For Vendetta” which depicted a futuristic fascist United Kingdom.

Robinson, who was arrested despite telling authorities he was there to report, attacked the “two-tiered policing system” in a short video posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Putting up statues everywhere, destroying war memorials, calling for the death of all Israelis, he found the police turning a blind eye,” he said. “Being Tommy Robinson, they send the whole squad, pepper spray you and drag you away,” in a short video clip that has inexplicably been labeled sensitive content by the censors who remain buried in X despite owner Elon Musk’s devotion to freedom. speech

“The same view has been expressed by others,” the Met Police told X. “As a result, he was spoken to and warned on more than one occasion that his continued presence in the area could cause harassment, alarm and distress to others”.
“He was ordered to leave the area but he refused to do so. We know the man had suggested he was in the area as a journalist. That was not a relevant factor in his arrest,” he said the police. seconds in the Daily Mail.”
X users reacted to state police tactics against Robinson.

You should have called Jihad, they would have left you alone.

They hate freedom and free speech so much they sent 20 brown shirts to arrest Tommy Robinson.
Not because he was violent, but because his presence is causing “alarm and distress”

The police have already lost the respect of a large number of the public. This just adds to it.

A clear example of the UK’s skewed priorities.
It’s outrageous that advocating genocide gets a pass, but reporting it gets you handcuffed. This is not justice; is a selective application based on political opinions.

The UK is lost. If journalists can’t do their jobs, the government will control what people think.

What is happening is obvious. Call it fascism or whatever, it’s government control of free speech. It is there for anyone to see, every day, relentless and oppressive. Those who accept it are digging their own grave by turning a blind eye.

People will not win this battle by taking the high road. The crowd could easily have prevented his arrest

The organizer of the demonstration, the British NGO Campaign Against Antisemitism, states on its website: “Britain is one of the best countries in the world to be Jewish, but we must fight to keep it that way. Britain is at a tipping point: unless anti-Semitism is met with zero tolerance, it will continue to grow and British Jews will increasingly question their place in their own country.”
