In a recent appearance on Pat McAfee's show, UFC president Dana White praised her longtime friend Donald Trump, hailing him as one of the toughest and most resilient people she's ever met.
White highlighted Trump's ability to withstand extreme challenges, including the recent assassination attempt.

White immediately set the record straight: “No, I was never going to UFC Denver. I wasn't even — I was on a plane in Italy, so he wasn't going to the UFC unless I was there. Number one.” He continued, underscoring Trump's toughness: “Number two, I've been saying this forever about this guy. He's one of the toughest, most resilient human beings I've ever met in my life.”
Elaborating on Trump's resilience, White said: “And let me tell you what, everybody wants to act like a tough guy, right? Everybody wants to act like a tough guy? Well, when the shit goes down, you find out who the tough and who aren't. This guy is the ultimate American swashbuckler. You know, the guy shoots him, gets up and then starts singing to the crowd, you know. fight, fight.”
White recalled his immediate reaction to the incident: “I was literally shocked. I called him as soon as I landed, I called him and he answered, and he was home from the hospital and we talked for 30 minutes
He went on to extol Trump's toughness: “Pat, I'm telling you, I've never met a human being like him in my life. He's literally one of the toughest, meanest guys ever. And listen, you don't like him . You can say what you want about him. It's indisputable. This sniper tried to shoot him by millimeters.”
Drawing a comparison to a personal experience, White shared, “I had a friend in Boston growing up, and a bunch of guys tried to kill him one night outside a bar, and he was never the same. . He was never the same. He literally moved down the South Shore and was never the same again. This guy is almost 80 years old. his head and have the reaction he did when he got up.”
White concluded by reaffirming his longtime friendship with Trump: “This guy has been a friend of mine for 25 years, one of the greatest human beings I've ever known. He's an amazing friend, and now he's forever, the best bad guy American. The picture you just showed will go down in history 100 years after we die.”
