House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Thursday released deeply disturbing Facebook files that showed the Biden White House coerced social media platform Facebook into censoring critical media posts and banning conservatives of the platform by name.
“Newly cited internal memos from meetings between Facebook executives and Biden administration officials reveal more about how far the Biden White House was willing to go to control true speech on Facebook,” Jordan wrote. Below is the verbatim transcript of his revelations.
Rob Flaherty, then President Biden’s Director of Digital Strategy, repeatedly pressed Facebook to explain its content decisions.
“We need to explain to the president, to Ron, to the people, why there is misinformation on the Internet…”
For example, Flaherty asked if Facebook was doing enough to reduce traffic from sites like @nypost.
“I’m curious: The NY Post produces articles every day… What is supposed to happen with this from a policy perspective? Does this article have a redaction, labels?”
But that wasn’t enough for the Biden White House. Flaherty wanted Facebook to go one step further.
He wanted Facebook to kick people off his site.
The Biden White House’s effort to censor opposing viewpoints only grew.
So they increased the pressure.
Flaherty demanded that Facebook “play ball” and work with the Biden White House on censorship.
He called it his “dream.”
But this is not all.
The Biden White House wanted to control what you see on Facebook.
They questioned whether Facebook could change its algorithm so that users would see more posts from the New York Times and less from @realDailyWire and @TomiLahren.
Why did they do it? Because they didn’t think you were smart enough to make up your own mind.
President Biden’s head of strategic communications and public engagement for the #COVID19 response, Courtney Rowe, scoffed at Royal America’s ability to determine what is true and what is not.
Facebook knew it had to act.
One staffer tried to explain to the White House that if the company couldn’t “remove” content, it could at least “contain” it.
But Flaherty continued to push for more content moderation and CONTROL of so-called “bad” content.
And of course Facebook caved.
The company admitted to the White House that it reduced the content of certain posts, even if the posts did not violate the company’s terms and contained TRUE information.
Just read this from a Facebook employee.
“These newly cited meeting notes continue to show the desire of the Biden White House to direct and control content on Facebook,” Jordan concluded. “Further Evidence of the Censorship-Industrial Complex.”
Conservative commentators, outraged by this unconstitutional collusion between the Biden White House and social media companies, exploded at “X” over the news.

“What is Facebook if not an editor when it deletes ‘non-false information,’ that is the truth, that could lead to a ‘vaccine-negative environment,'” commented Federalist contributor Benjamin Weingarten.
“This is ‘disinformation’ in government parlance: facts that undermine state-favored narratives ripe for censorship,” he added.
The Biden administration crossed the Rubicon with journalists and citizens censoring their preferred political “narratives.” This raises the question of whether these officials are now running an unconstitutional government that is losing its legitimacy to rule.
The US government is only as good as the charter that created it. It constitutes the terms of the agreement that binds its elected leaders through their sworn office. America is entering dangerous new territory. It will definitely get worse before it gets better.
