Skittles, the poisonous candy for kids, is the latest product to have a wake-up call after releasing special edition packaging that celebrates transgender people and the organization Black Lives Matter.
The normal red and rainbow packaging has been replaced with a black and white package replete with a trans flag and the phrase “Black Trans Lives Matter.”
The confectionary, owned by the Wrigley Company, in turn owned by Mars Incorporated, has also thrown a drag queen into the package for good measure.
The packaging was designed together with the organization Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.
