President Joe Biden has finally united almost the entire nation as one, though not in the way he would have predicted. A poll released Monday shows broad public belief that he is too big to be effective in a second term.
The revelation comes from a poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, which finds large parts of the public of all party affiliations united in sizing up the one thing the octogenarian Biden can’t change .
According to the AP poll, 77 percent said Biden is too old to be effective for another four years. This is not only said by 89% of Republicans, but also by 69% of Democrats. This view holds across all age groups, not just young people, though older Democrats are specifically more favorable of his potential for a 2024 bid.
