MSNBC personality Mehdi Hasan spoke out publicly for the first time since his show was canceled, putting a positive spin on his demotion and aspiring employer.
The left-leaning host who has been criticized for his Israel-hating rhetoric was removed from the regular lineup with the removal of his weekend show along with NBC's video streaming service Peacock , a move that left his followers crying foul over Islamophobia. But in comments posted on X, a humiliated Hasan refused to bite the hand that fed him.
“Yes, the @MehdiHasanShow is over on @peacock and will be on @MSNBC *next month* (still a few weeks to go!) Thank you all for watching over the last 3 years. Going forward on @MSNBC, I will serve as as a guest host on mainstream shows and beyond, and as an on-air political analyst,” he wrote.
If the @MehdiHasanShow has finished the @paó and will end the @MSNBC *next month* (still a few weeks away!)

“Thank you for the outpouring of love and support, and thank you of course to my amazing and talented team of producers at the @MehdiHasanShow,” Hasan added. “I'm very humbled and grateful. I'm not going anywhere and you'll be hearing a lot from me in 2024.”

Hasan's expulsion from the regular lineup comes after he accused the Jewish state of war crimes on the same day Hamas savages massacred more than a thousand Israelis in a bloody attack on civilian areas, killing women , children and babies in their own homes and parading around with the corpses of their victims as trophies.
“Taking civilians hostage is a war crime. What we're witnessing in the Middle East right now are multiple war crimes. Some of us condemn war crimes there, regardless of whether the perpetrators are Israeli or Palestinian. Some only condemn the war crimes of the Palestinians,” Hasan wrote to X after news of the terror attack broke.

It's hard to imagine MSNBC allowing someone on TV to say similar things about a different religion, let alone giving them a show! pic.twitter.com/CGBo4suQdh
