Conservative podcast host Matt Walsh went undercover on a mission to answer the fascinating question: “Am I a racist?”

In the Daily Wire's first original film, which hits theaters in September, Walsh dons a man's hat and infiltrates the world of the left to take a look at anti-racism advocates. The trailer for the documentary showed Walsh, who also starred in the 2022 film “What Is a Woman,” interviewing experts, attending workshops and even going undercover at a progressive dinner.

“Growing up in the 90s, you never thought much about race. Of course you noticed, but it never seemed to matter that much, at least not to me,” Walsh is heard saying in a voiceover at the beginning of the trailer.

“Am I racist?” Walsh asks as the trailer continues to show him being kicked out of the event.

“If I'm going to solve this, I have to go deep undercover. If I'm going to be an ally, I have to look like one,” the voiceover continued as Walsh is shown in a new look.

Playing the role of “a clueless, overzealous DEI trainee,” Walsh is seen throughout the rest of the trailer doing sit-down interviews with the character as he tries to get answers from experts and everyday Americans.

“Let's be clear, what's going on in this country: It's Nazism. Republicans are Nazis. You can't separate yourself from the bad white people,” Race2Dinner co-founder Saira Rao is heard saying in a clip as she looks at Walsh in a face mask and the rest of his outfit serving dinner.

“The whole system needs to burn. And I won't even use 'save this country'. This country is not worth saving. This country is a piece of…” Rao says as Walsh is seen dropping dishes of dinner and making a commotion.

Notably, the end of the trailer undercover shows Walsh talking one-on-one with Robin DiAngelo, author of “White Fragility: Why It's So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism.”

Walsh gave her fake name when DiAngelo asked while noting, “I just had to ask who you are because you have to be careful.”

“You can never be too careful,” Walsh replied.

Directed by Justin Folk, The Daily Wire's first theatrical release opens in theaters on September 13.
