‘MAGA Mike is funny!’ A new speaker caught doing impromptu stand-up, And political impersonations

Incoming Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) recently captivated audiences with his sense of humor, which included a hilarious impression of former President Donald Trump and House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH ).

But first, he did a spot-on impression of U.S. Rep. Clay Higgins (R-LA), with a drawing of Louisiana that had him eating the room out of hand.

Johnson spoke after a phone call he received from Trump, before doing an impersonation of the former president talking about how much he loves Jim Jordan, hand gestures and all.

“Anyway, say hi,” the speaker said after his impromptu performance, prompting guttural laughter from those present.

One attendee spoke of a custom-made knife that was given to Trump, along with a message “from all of us Louisiana inside, recognizing, in my opinion, his revered status as the greatest president we’ve ever had never. had.”

Once again, Johnson turned to his inner Trump to talk about Higgins being the “Cajun John Wayne.”

“He’s excited. He wanted – I’m serious – the president to send his greetings to the group tonight, he told me to tell you all this,” he added.

In closing, Johnson joked about Higgins and himself having “a lot of the same tattoos”.

“He says, he says freedom on my back,” he joked as he grabbed his back.

“He’s loved in Washington. He’s the best export we have in DC,” he said of Higgins at the closing.
