The representative, however, said the incident required “life-saving measures,” and the alleged victim was eventually taken to a local hospital for further treatment and evaluation.

“The Federal Bureau of Investigation was notified,” the spokesman said. “No staff or other inmates were injured and at no time were the public in danger. An internal investigation is ongoing.”
Larry Nassar He was reportedly stabbed multiple times while in jail over the weekend … after he was involved in an altercation with another inmate.
The attack, according to the Associated Presshe spent Sunday at the Florida United States Penitentiary in Coleman.
The outlet reports the disgraced 59-year-old sports doctor suffered back and chest injuries … though he was listed in stable condition Monday. No further details were released about the incident.
We’ve reached out to US prison officials for comment, but have not heard back so far.
Nassar is currently serving decades behind bars … after hundreds of gymnasts, including former Team USA stars Aly Raisman i Jordyn Wieber — stated that he sexually abused them.

Nassar has been involved in at least one conflict with a fellow inmate before … in 2018, his attorney said he was assaulted just hours after being released to the general population at the United States Penitentiary in Tucson, AZ.
The incident actually led to his transfer at the United States Penitentiary in Coleman.
