Don’t elect Donald Trump as president, please.
That’s the unmistakable warning from former White House debater turned state propaganda spokesperson Jen Psaki.
The MSNBC host raised the possibility of a future President Donald Trump retaliating against his political enemies as he shamelessly carried water for Joe Biden after a bad week for the president’s poll numbers.
After recent New York Times/Siena College polls showed the president losing to Trump in five key states, Psaki, a former White House press secretary under Biden, weighed in on the upcoming 2024 showdown.
Psaki said too many Democrats were “freaking out” about the president’s poll numbers, and mentioned Democratic victories on Election Day this year before turning to the “still very real” prospect of a Trump’s second term.
“Still, the cocktail party speculation about an alternative to Joe Biden continues, will continue,” he intoned. “Guess what? Joe Biden is not perfect. There is no candidate, by the way, but we have to understand what the alternative is here.
“If elected to a second term, Donald Trump would prosecute anyone he considers an enemy, unleash troops on protesters, and essentially unravel the rule of law as we know it… But of course, Joe Biden is 3 years older and occasionally stumbles.”
“Look, there’s a lot to worry about right now when it comes to a second Trump term. The speeches are getting more and more disturbing and much more disconcerting, and we should all hear it that way,” he stated.
“And the things he’s saying right now are some of the most troubling things we’ve ever heard him say,” added Psaki, who showed a clip of Trump’s recent Univision interview in which he argued in favor of impeachment his political rivals.
“What they’ve done is they’ve released the genie from the box,” Trump said in an interview broadcast Thursday by Spanish-language network Univision.
Trump faces four indictments on a total of 91 counts, ranging from allegedly lying on trade paperwork to violating felony statutes and conspiring to defraud the United States. He is the Republican Party’s presidential front-runner for 2024. Many Trump supporters and political observers believe the DOJ’s unprecedented attacks on the presidential candidate are a form of “election interference.”
In response to a question from Univision about his claims that the Justice Department and the FBI had been “armed” and whether he would do the same if re-elected, Trump stated: “It’s not unique, but it’s unique to the States United Yes, if they do, and they already have, but if they want to continue with it, yes, it could certainly happen in reverse.
Joe Biden, by the way, doesn’t just “stick occasionally.” This is a false framing of serious concern about the president’s ability to perform the duties of the highest office.
President Biden has memory problems, makes constant gaffes, and makes strange statements that suggest he’s not actually in charge of his own presidency. Sometimes it wanders aimlessly, as during the somber ceremony honoring America’s fallen heroes on Veterans Day. Biden has also taken far more vacations than any president in modern US history, while presiding over one of the worst presidencies in history.
The economy is in shambles, inflation is rampant, interest rates have skyrocketed, consumer debt is at new highs, the deficit is out of control, the national debt is at almost unsustainable levels, the dollar is ‘is weakening, the border crisis has exploded, and the nation’s foreign policy has done nothing less than unleash a bracelet on the Middle East and risk World War III in Europe, all without authorization from Congress.
The Biden regime is lawless, relentless and ruthless. It has carried out massive censorship of Americans, prosecuted peaceful protesters and locked them up as political prisoners, and carried out blatant election interference through the law against a presidential challenger.
Jen Psaki knows it all. And how he can sit on TV and lament a politician who has been tirelessly harassed, persecuted and sabotaged by promising a “reward” for his enemies is the height of absurdity.
If there is justice in this world, there will be a reckoning.
