Let’s start with the fact that there is no such thing as “autonomous AI”. It’s fake, it doesn’t exist. Some believe it could happen in the future, but even that is based on ignorance or intentional fear mongering to get people to fear AI.

But no matter what your beliefs about AI’s ability in the future, no one in the tech industry today who works with AI would say that AI is now “fully autonomous.”

We haven’t even been able to develop a “fully autonomous” car after nearly 20 years, let alone something that could launch a nuclear attack.

But the weapons are not autonomous. They need people to carry them, and the same goes for artificial intelligence or any computer code.
