U.S. Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) did not accept defeat gracefully in her re-election primary on Tuesday.
Instead, the left-leaning “Squad” member criticized a pro-Israel PAC that had helped fund his opponent, the St. Louis Wesley Bell. In the tight Missouri race, Bush proved to be a big loser as she became the second member of “The Squad” to be defeated, after Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) lost his re-election bid last month.
After his loss, Bush spat fire as he claimed that leaving Congress just “pulls some strings” and frees him up to do more.
“Because now, there are some chains that I've attached. And as much as I love my job, all they did was radicalize me, and now they should be afraid,” he said.

“They are about to see this other Cori, this other side,” warned the outspoken critic of Israel's war on Gaza. “Nothing that happens in my life happens in vain. So, this happened because it had to happen. And let me say it's because of the work I have to do.”
“And let me say this: AIPAC, I'm coming to overthrow your kingdom!” the two-term lawmaker swore in as the crowd cheered.
In announcing his campaign, Bell had criticized Bush for the comments, which he said showed “a lack of understanding of the nuances and complexities of an issue that is literally hundreds of years in the making.”
Left-wing news channel Sludge claimed that nearly “two-thirds of Bell's campaign funding” was raised by AIPAC. with its super PAC, the United Democracy Project spent more than $7 million to unseat Bush.

“I think we need to have a real conversation about AIPAC,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said after Bowman's loss.
“I think what we need to have a real conversation about is how a Republican organization, primarily Republican and largely funded by Republicans, is playing games and pouring money and playing an extremely divisive role in the Democratic Party,” the New York socialist said . who won his primary the same night Bowman lost.
But AIPAC rejected the claims, telling The Hill earlier this year that it is “the largest PAC contributor to Democratic candidates.”
“Our political action committee supports the Democratic leadership and nearly half of the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the Black Caucus, and the Hispanic Caucus,” AIPAC said in a statement. “In addition, our affiliated super PAC supported a number of progressive Democratic candidates in the last election cycle, who defeated anti-Israel candidates in their primaries, won the general election, and currently serve in Congress. We believe it is fully consistent with progressive values to be with the Jewish state.”
Bush had been investigated by the Justice Department, the Federal Election Commission and the House Ethics Committee because her husband was paid as a member of her security detail.
Social media users, including members of Congress, were more than happy with Tuesday's results and were ready to close the door on the progressive future. ancient congressman

Goodbye Cory Bush. You may have knocked down my door, but the people of St. Louis demolished your career. And I “spit your name”.

This is not the time for this country to come together and heal its wounds. This is the time when normal, sane people need to drive Marxists like you to the fringes of society. Bye

I'm scrolling and have yet to see ONE comment of support or people being sad that they lost. Looks like not only St Louis wants you gone, but America is ready to pack up too. Just tell us where to book your one-way ticket ✈️

The best thing you've done as a congressman is to lose your bid for re-election.
