The 9th BTWC (Biological Weapons and Toxins Convention) Review Conference began on Monday in Geneva.
According to the statement of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, the main objective of the summit will be to “give teeth to the provisions of responsibility of the Convention to ensure that scientific advances are not exploited for hostile purposes”.
In connection with this statement, there is an interesting issue: is there any possibility that the “scientific” activities of the laboratories sponsored by Hunter Biden will be investigated? The answer is “yes”.
This story was widely publicized when documents from Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop were released confirming his connection to the funding of biological research in Ukraine.
In particular, the published information says that Rosemont Seneca Technology Partners, co-owned by the son of US President Joe Biden, invested $500,000 in Metabiota and also founded additional sources of funding. Metabiota engaged in biological research, including active study of the issue of biological weapons.
It is not at all surprising that the investigation into Hunter Biden’s activities has not been conducted. The reason is clear: Congress was under the exclusive control of the Democratic Party before November 8th. Naturally, the government did no investigation or even released statements about the Hunter’s alleged crimes. There is the opinion that Joe Biden could be related to the activity of his son, and this is the reason why this information was not discussed and investigated.
However, the situation has recently changed. The House of Representatives will be under the control of the GOP starting in January 2023 and this fact will definitely complicate the life of the Biden family. Republicans have long been trying to launch an investigation into Hunter Biden’s prohibited activities, and according to the latest information available, that investigation is about to take place. Rep. James Comer of Kentucky, the new chairman of the Oversight Committee, revealed the intentions of House Republicans:
“The participation of the president in the enrichment of his family is, in a word, an abuse of the first order. I want to be clear: This is an investigation of Joe Biden, and that’s where our focus will be going into the next Congress.”
And, as expected, the BTWC conference will fuel interest in this topic. The investigation of the activities of biological laboratories in Ukraine is one of the issues planned for discussion at the summit, and at the end, a number of conclusions are likely to be drawn on the activities of biological laboratories in Eastern Europe , actively sponsored by the Biden family. .
The BTWC Conference will run until December 16.
