On January 8, 2021, the same day Milley spoke to China in a secret phone call, CNN published a story claiming that Pelosi had obtained assurances from Milley that safeguards were in place should President Trump want to launch a nuclear weapon. …
On Monday, Robert Costa reported that Milley told Speaker Pelosi that he agreed that Trump was crazy and assured the president that the nuclear codes were safe.
