Billionaire Elon Musk, the owner of social media network X, announced on Tuesday that he intends to donate part of the company’s revenue to medical authorities in Israel and Gaza.
“X Corp will donate all advertising and subscription revenue associated with the Gaza war to Israeli hospitals and the Red Cross/Gaza Crescent,” he tweeted Tuesday afternoon.

Asked how he would ensure the money “doesn’t end up in the hands of Hamas,” he responded by promising to “closely monitor” how the funds are spent.
Look at:
It’s great that you’re going to give. How do you know the money won’t end up in hamas hands?

We will follow how the funds are spent and we will go through the Red Cross/Midmoon.

Interestingly, critics responded to the posts by complaining that the medical authorities in Gaza need money much more than the authorities in Israel.
“I don’t think it’s Israel’s hospitals that need resources. Gaza is the one that has no fuel and is overwhelmed with injured and mutilated bodies. It probably shouldn’t be 50/50,” one critic tweeted.
“99.9% of donations should go to Gaza if we are fair here,” added another.

It’s kind of you. All wounded need care. But the situation in Gaza is desperate. Israel is a rich nation with a lot of support already. So I hope you send more income to Gaza as they desperately need it.

I understand you’re trying to backtrack and make up for what you said last week (and I really hope the adl sees this bro) but only part of this conflict is desperately needing donations to hospitals and such and that’s not the one supported and funded by the US government

Charity is never a bad thing, but don’t you think the hospitals in Gaza need more help right now? Also American taxpayers just sent billions of dollars to Israel.
Even if this move brings advertisers back, how long until they inevitably leave again because you’re telling too much truth @elonmusk?

“Israel” is an occupying organization.
While Gaza is the one undergoing genocide…the Israeli occupation deserves nothing because Biden supports it with weapons of murder, devastation and destruction to kill Palestinian civilians.

Check out what one reviewer wrote: “[I] get you to try to backtrack and make up for what you said last week.”
Critics believe Musk’s sudden generosity is motivated by an attempt to appease Jewish critics he had offended with his tweets a week earlier.
Last week, Musk liked an allegedly anti-Semitic post that accused Jewish powers such as the Anti-Defamation League of condoning and promoting anti-white hatred.
“You have spoken the real truth. … The ADL unfairly attacks the majority of the West, despite the fact that the majority of the West supports the Jewish people and Israel. This is because they cannot, by their own principles, criticize the groups minorities who are their main threat,” he wrote in response to the controversial tweet.
“It’s not good and it has to stop,” he added.

Tweets asked massive reactionincluding even from the Biden White House.
“We condemn this abhorrent promotion of anti-Semitic and racist hatred in the strongest terms, which goes against our core values as Americans,” the White House said in a statement Friday, referring to Musk’s tweets.
“It is unacceptable to repeat the horrific lie behind the deadliest act of anti-Semitism in American history at any time, let alone a month after the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust,” he added. the white house
The White House has issued a statement condemning Elon Musk. It is not clear how exactly it is a lie that progressive Jewish organizations promote anti-whiteness and support the very policies that now endanger them. pic.twitter.com/XTSzUIs6A3

The great irony, as previously reported, is that on the same day the White House slammed Musk, Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt praised Musk for his efforts to “fight hate “, including anti-Semitism, in X.
