CBS Finally Admits Fauci Funded Wuhan Lab. – Steve Bannon’s War Room: Pandemic

It seems that the mainstream media has finally been forced to acknowledge what many have suspected for a long time – that Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), and his organization, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) in China.

On April 27th, 2021, CBS News published an article entitled “Fauci says he’s ‘not convinced’ COVID-19 developed naturally, wants further investigation”. While the title of the article suggests that Fauci is now questioning the natural origin of the virus, the real news is buried in the middle of the piece.

The article states that “Fauci acknowledged that the U.S. government had funded research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through a grant from nonprofit the EcoHealth Alliance. The organization, which aims to identify and study viruses that have the potential to cause pandemics, has defended its work with the WIV, saying it was aimed at understanding how viruses are transmitted from animals to humans.”

This is a significant admission, as it confirms what many have suspected for months – that the NIAID and NIH funded research at the WIV. The EcoHealth Alliance, which received $3.7 million from the NIAID to study coronaviruses in bats in China, collaborated with the WIV on this research.

The funding from the NIAID was provided through a grant that was awarded to the EcoHealth Alliance in 2014 and renewed in 2019, shortly before the outbreak of COVID-19. The grant was intended to support research into the “risk of future coronavirus (CoV) emergence from wildlife using in-depth field investigations across the human-wildlife interface in China.”

The fact that the NIAID and NIH funded research at the WIV is important because the lab has been identified as a possible source of the COVID-19 outbreak. The lab was known to be studying coronaviruses in bats, and there are concerns that the virus may have escaped from the facility.

The admission by Fauci that the NIAID and NIH funded research at the WIV also raises questions about the role of the U.S. government in the outbreak. If the virus did escape from the lab, then the U.S. government would bear some responsibility, as it funded research at the facility.

The admission by Fauci is also significant because it contradicts earlier statements he made regarding funding for the WIV. In April 2020, Fauci stated that the NIH had “never approved any grant that would have supported” the WIV. However, it is now clear that the NIAID did provide funding to the EcoHealth Alliance, which collaborated with the WIV on research.

In conclusion, the admission by Fauci that the NIAID and NIH funded research at the WIV is a significant development in the investigation of the COVID-19 outbreak. It confirms what many have suspected for months – that the U.S. government was involved in funding research at a lab that may have been responsible for the outbreak. The admission also raises questions about the role of the U.S. government in the outbreak and highlights the need for further investigation into the origins of the virus.
