Following a report on the latest in the so-called hush money trial, Fox News host Brian Kilmeade made a flattering remark about former President Donald Trump.
Fox News correspondent Eric Shawn updated “Fox & Friends” viewers on the latest developments in the criminal trial involving a payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 election. The former stripper, , 45, took Tuesday to testify about an alleged one-night stand.
Kilmeade commented on Trump's “character” and the type of organization he ran that drew praise and loyalty from his former employees and associates.
“Just a quick thing to add, just to point out: How great must it be to work for Donald Trump?” he remarked
“Whatever people say outside, you've got Rhona [Graff]that was there forever,” Kilmeade said, referring to Trump's executive assistant.
“And then you have this COO who says, 'One of the hardest things I had to do was step down after 36 years because the court cases were coming in too fast and furious,'” Kilmeade continued.
“You have Hope Hicks, who looks back on those days working for Trump and is overwhelmed by it because she feels such loyalty to him,” Kilmeade said, referring to former Trump aide Hope Hicks, who crying on the stand when asked about his long time. relationship with Trump.
Just as the defense was about to begin cross-examination, Hope Hicks became very emotional and appeared close to tears.

“You have a CFO sitting on Rikers Island for the second time in a row, because he refuses to make up lies about the man he worked for and would work for him again,” Kilmeade said, this time referring to the former chief financial officer of the Trump Organization. Allen Weisselberg, who pleaded guilty to lying under oath during testimony in the New York civil fraud case against the presumptive 2024 Republican nominee.
The Associated Press noted in March that “By pleading guilty, Weisselberg found himself again caught between the law and his loyalty to Trump, whose family employed him for nearly 50 years, sending him to retirement with a $2 million severance package and has continued to pay his legal bills.”
Kilmeade, who has interviewed the former president on several occasions, summed up the loyalty of those who worked for him.
“So whatever he says about Trump and his organization, he's a big hit. And he treated everybody like family,” he said.
“And I think it says a lot about the character of the person that a lot of people still can't understand his popularity,” he concluded.
The former president faces a staggering 34 felony counts for allegedly falsifying business records in connection with the payment to Daniels. Trump also faces thousands in fines for violating the gag order, and Judge Juan Merchan has threatened him with prison if he continues.
