A mass shooting at the Allen Premium Outlets, a popular outdoor mall located in a suburb north of Dallas, Texas, has killed nine people and injured at least seven others.
The suspected shooter has now been identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia, who also died during a standoff with law enforcement.

“Multiple sources tell me the Allen Outlet Mall shooter is named Mauricio Garcia,” CBS News reporter JD Miles tweeted. “I was 33 years old. A house that was raided in Dallas overnight was his parents. Sources tell me he was living in a motel. He had no serious criminal record and worked as a security guard.”
According to authorities, the ages of the hospitalized victims ranged from 5 to 61 years old. The shooting was reported to law enforcement officials at approximately 3:30 p.m. Saturday, prompting a multi-agency response to the scene.
The motive for the shooting is unknown and authorities have not released any information about the identities of the victims. There is no confirmation as to whether Garcia was an illegal immigrant or not.

In the uncensored video, you can see that the suspect was dressed in black, but with Converse sneakers. He had several magazines on his person and a rifle by his side.
As can be heard in the dash cam video, the weapon or weapons used was an automatic rifle or one modified to fire at a higher rate of fire.

There also appear to be false or misleading reports about the suspects being “black” and shouting epithets about the victims. The graphic video, however, appears to be authentic, but filmed afterwards.
While details of the incident are still emerging, local news station WFAA has reported that children were among the dead and injured. Eyewitnesses said they saw several bodies covered in sheets when they were given permission to leave the shops where they had been hiding.
Police Chief Brian Harvey confirmed the fatalities but did not provide a specific death toll, saying officials “do not have an accurate count” at this time. The criminal investigation continues.
