Bloomberg is fake news for Biden

The Bloomberg report “Guatemala’s Next Leader Says Slow Motion Coup Threatens Economy” is a lie on every level. There is no coup, and the economic threat is the criminality of the Joe Biden regime. Bloomberg, with its fake news, is a mouthpiece for the regime’s agenda.

The elected president of Guatemala, Bernardo Arévalo, facing legitimate investigations, alleges an illegal effort to prevent him from taking office. Bloomberg gives no explanation for the investigation of Arévalo’s Semilla party. Instead, Bloomberg lazily offers a press release from Arévalo. The report promotes the idea that its failure to take office would lead to disastrous economic consequences and promote migration to the United States.

The coup to which Bloomberg refers are the investigations of the General Prosecutor’s Office (PGO) arising from more than 1,000 criminal complaints for electoral fraud and fraud in the registration of Semilla’s party. Arévalo, the Biden regime and Bloomberg accuse Attorney General Consuelo Porras of acting corruptly to prevent her from taking office.

A civic association dedicated to the rule of law he says the Biden regime has perpetrated electoral fraud to make Arévalo president. Also, the recent violence and blockade of PGO offices comes from the Biden regime and US taxpayer funding.

Contrary to the Bloomberg report, Arévalo will cause migration because he is an anti-capitalist. Your Semilla party website it refers to to “the odious inequalities generated by uncontrolled capitalism”. The Semilla line is a straw man to promote wealth redistribution; Guatemala hardly has runaway capitalism.

Porras is a key figure fighting drug trafficking of people and narcotics because he is dedicated to the law. A Department of Justice (DOJ) March 16 Press release “thanks to Guatemalan law enforcement” for their unprecedented cooperation in the extradition of human traffickers. The DOJ said the success sent a message to criminals that they are not safe south of the border.

The DOJ did not mention Porras’ pivotal role in law enforcement. By constitutional mandate, the PGO is the only entity that can file criminal charges, including extradition requests. The DOJ’s omission is likely attributable to pressure from the Department of State (DOS) because it has sanctioned Porras.

In an exit interview in August, US Ambassador to Guatemala William Popp he stated that the DOS could not work with the Attorney General’s Office (PGO) in a “programmatic way” and pointed out that Porras had been sanctioned. However, Popp took credit for 125 extraditions to the United States that were directly attributable to Porras.

The DOS cited Porras’ firing of former prosecutor Juan Francisco Sandoval sanctioned her in 2021. Porras explained that Sandoval retained a specific case of her for two years. This case, brought by the US Department of Homeland Security in 2019, involved a USAID grantee misusing grant money.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken subsequently honored Sandoval despite his obstruction of justice and other serious crimes. Sandoval left Guatemala the day he was fired and now resides in the United States under DOS protection. The DOJ has not granted an extradition request for Sandoval, but has praised the extraditions of the PGO and Porras to the United States.

The DOS has called the investigations of electoral fraud and Semilla, which Porras was legally obliged to initiate, an anti-democratic attempt to annul the elections. The PGO has discovered more than 8,000 forged documents that Semilla used to fulfill its requirement to register 25,000 people.

On September 12, the PGO executed a search warrant for electoral material. The PGO discovered that the documents were not where the law required them to be, a crime for which the electoral authorities, much praised by the DOS, are responsible.

On September 30, the PGO executed a search of the electoral authority, whose magistrates committed a crime by trying to physically restrain the PGO agents. The TWO accused the PGO of undermining democratic institutions. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan accused the PGO of trying to “intimidate the electoral authorities and prevent the peaceful transition of power”. Video recordings showed Sullivan was lying.

If Bloomberg were a legitimate news service, it would have added context and asked Arévalo about these discrepancies. However, Bloomberg is an enabler of the globalist betrayal of the Biden regime in the United States.

To curb migration, Guatemala needs to create about 200,000 new jobs a year, which means at least $2 billion in investments. The DOS and its criminal agents, some of whom Arévalo praised and visited on his recent trip, have been disastrous for the economy of Guatemala.

Porras represents the correct application of the law. However, the Biden regime and its media partners call her corrupt because that includes processing Criminal agents TWO for their crimes.

There are two and a half years left in Porras’ term, and she cannot be removed from office. The Biden and Arévalo regime have demonized Porras to push her to resign. Otherwise, they have unleashed USAID-funded NGOs to block roads and PGO offices. The thugs of the NGO even invaded and vandalized Porras’ residence. The DOS, Arévalo and Bloomberg call these peaceful protests.

Arévalo attended one Pobla Group meeting in September. He meshed well with representatives of fellow travelers Nicolás Maduro, Gustavo Petro and Luiz “Lula” da Silva, among other Latin American politicians aligned with Iran and communist China. The Seed Festival is over united Progressive International, which openly supports Hamas.

The Biden regime is bullying Guatemala into not enforcing its laws, as they would prevent Arévalo from becoming president. The Biden regime is working against the interests of the United States, and Arévalo is projecting his own corruption onto his opponents. It would harm Guatemala and the United States, and Bloomberg spreads regime lies.
